Dr. Monika Raj
Dr. Raj grew up in Chandigarh, India and obtained her Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. After receiving her Ph.D., Prof. Raj was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Pennsylvania. Prof. Raj did another postdoc at New York University. She joined as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry at Seton Hall University in 2014. Since 2017, she is an Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University.
Sriram Mahesh joined the Raj Group in 2018. He completed his Ph.D. from IISER, Mohali, India in 2017.
Kuei-Chien is a first year graduate student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He grew up in Kaohsiung , Taiwan. In his spare time, he loves to jog, play basketball and watch movies.
Ogonna (Jay) is from Nigeria. He has obtained his B.S. and M.Sc. in Biochemistry. He finds Biochemistry exciting and hopes to be an integral part of ‘evolution in the tube’ of which Organic chemistry offers a veritable means. Besides research, he equally enjoys reading, public speaking, volunteer community activities and building strong networks.
Victor is a first year graduate student with a B.Sc in Biochemistry and is really enthusiastic about applying techniques from organic chemistry to solve problems in biochemistry. At his leisure periods, he likes playing musical instruments and listening to music.
Rachel is a second year graduate student with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Springhill College. She spent four years teaching chemistry at the high school level. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and relaxing.
Xavier is currently in his third year of undergraduate studies at Auburn University. He joined the group in 2018. He is originally from Millbrook, Alabama. In his free time, he likes to read, play piano, and jog.
Logan is currently working towards an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Auburn University
Hader was a graduate student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and is excited to be working as Post Doc at the Princeton University. She grew up in Bayonne, NJ and earned her B.S. in Biochemistry in 2014. In her spare time, she loves to read, bake, and listen to music.
Originally from India, Neelam is a graduate student in Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Seton Hall University, NJ. She has done her Masters in Organic Chemistry and she is looking forward to diversify in Biochemistry.
Tiauna is a native of Newark, NJ. She joined the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University in 2015. Tiauna earned a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2012 and M.S. in Chemistry in 2015. In addition to doing research, Tiauna enjoys reading, relaxing, and nature walks with her dogs.
Joe is pursuing his MD after graduating in 2017 from the biochemistry department at Seton Hall University.
